Operations Team Meeting 9/2020

Synthesia Technology’s Operations supervisors team participated in a progress review session framed in the Global Operations Plan.

This September 2020, Synthesia Technology’s Operations supervisors team participated in a progress review session framed in the Global Operations Plan. This plan has as its priority focus the areas of Safety, Productivity, Projects, Maintenance and Talent Management. Personnel from the Castellbisbal and La Llagosta (Barcelona) plants participated in the meeting.

The focus of the meeting was to generate synergies in the group, involve its components and share experiences to promote team bonding and human interaction in a pleasing and effective way.

These types of activities help to improve team dynamics, enhancing personal and professional relationships, while stimulating involvement and collaboration. All this with a single objective, to promote commitment and continuous improvement.

In the meeting, important topics were covered such as Security (objectives and expectations) and introduction to the LOTO security system (Lockout-Tagout) that is going to be put into operation, both at the Castellbisbal plant and at the La Llagosta plant (Barcelona).

The 2020-2022 Operations Plan was also presented and the structure, methodology and improvement actions of the Maintenance and Engineering areas within the organization were analysed.

The meeting was also an opportunity for sharing priorities, current and future work methodologies, alignment of objectives and the review of the topics of interest of the operations group.

In short, a starting point to establish the Operations area strategy aligned with the current and future demands of the company and the market.
